[From April 1st] Regarding the mandatory entry of PIN when using credit cards
Thank you for your continued patronage of Kawasaki Nikko Hotel.
Based on the “Credit Card Security Guidelines” established by the Japan Credit Association, Starting April 1, 2025, “signature authentication” will be abolished when using an IC credit card, and entry of a PIN (four-digit number) will become mandatory.
As of April 1, 2025, our hotel will also require you to enter your PIN when making payments by credit card.
If you forget your PIN, you will need to contact the issuing credit card company yourself and go through the process of receiving your PIN.
Please note that for overseas issued credit cards that do not support PIN numbers, payment can still be made by signature as usual.
We would appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation.
