Safety from earthquakes
We take the following precautions against earthquakes.
We continue to provide our guests with safety, security and comfort.
Our building is constructed to withstand a level 6-upper earthquake on the Japanese intensity scale according to surveys by design and structural experts.
You may set your mind at ease.
In case you need to evacuate from a guest room, restaurant, banquet room or any other part of the building, our hotel staff will lead you promptly to a safe place.
The hotel’s safety control center operates around the clock to ensure safety of our guests. In case of emergency, we will inform you of the situation over the public address (PA) system while our staff will check out the safety of the building and help you evacuate if necessary. If a power outage occurs, the emergency lights will come on.
Due to the shortage in power supply, we have made, and continue to make, efforts to save power. We wish for your understanding.

The environmental radiation is not at a level that causes a health problem.
The radioactivity in tap water is below the safety limit the Japanese government sets. You can safely use the tap water.
